What is truth? — Pontius Pilate
I don't believe in Relativism or Absolutism, Empiricism or Rationalism, Romanticism or Deism. I don't believe in the wisdom of this world, and I don't believe in myself.
I believe in God.
I believe He created us and made us free. Yet we twisted that freedom into selfish ambition and hid ourselves from the truth. We feared truth because it shows us who we are: proud and jealous and lonely.
But this is not the end of the story. Because God is loving and cares for His creation, he came to earth in the form of a man, Jesus.
I believe he is the Truth.
Jesus lived a lived a perfect life and died as a sacrifice for our sins. He bore the judgment for our sins, so that we could be reunited with God.
Today we see ourselves through a broken mirror, marred by our pride and sin. But one day we will stand before God and nothing will be hidden. Then we will have a choice:
There are only two kinds of people in the end: those who say to God, “Thy will be done,” and those to whom God says, in the end, “thy will be done.”... Without that self-choice there could be no hell. — C. S. Lewis
